Yala National Park is the jewel in Sri Lankas wildlife crown. Home to 215 specis of birds many of which are unique to Sri Lanka. It also has elephants, deer, monkeys, crocodiles and a great variety of reptiles.

However the main attraction are the Leopards! Yala has the highest leopard population density in the world and uniquely because they are the only big cat in the park they are active during the day. This makes Yala THE BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD to see Leopards.

Visiting Yala from the cabanas really requires an overnight stay as its about 4 hours drive away. This is no problem as we can arrange the complete trip for you either in advance or when you arrive.
